Renovations and improvements at Ruissalo Spa

Around the turn of the year, Ruissalo Spa will undergo extensive renovation works that will bring significant improvements to both our facilities and services. Due to these renovations, the spa will be temporarily closed from 19 December 2025 to 22 January 2026.

These upgrades continue the development work that began a year ago, when, among other things, the spa’s lobby was completely transformed. This time, the most visible changes will take place in the spa’s main restaurant, the gym, and the fitness studio.

During the closure, we will also carry out essential maintenance works throughout the entire property to ensure we can serve our guests even better in the future. We look forward to welcoming guests back to our renewed facilities on Friday, 23 January.

A new look for the restaurant

As part of the upcoming renovations, Ruissalo Spa’s restaurant will receive a new, elegant look. We will also continue developing our food offering, while its heart will remain the same: clean, fresh Nordic flavours. The stunning archipelago views invite both hotel guests and locals to enjoy breakfast, lunch, brunch, and dinner by the sea.

Increased focus on wellbeing services

With these changes, the role of wellbeing services at Ruissalo will be strengthened even further. The spa’s gym will be completely refurbished: the facilities will be upgraded to meet modern standards, and the equipment selection will be renewed. Our goal is to provide an inspiring and functional environment for versatile training for hotel guests, regular visitors, and those in rehabilitation alike.

The first-floor fitness studio will also be made more functional and versatile, particularly for yoga, group exercise, and small-group training. The monthly yoga weekends and themed days held at Ruissalo have been extremely popular, and our wellbeing concepts will continue to be developed in the coming years. We have already published the first yoga events for spring.

Gym memberships during the closure

During the closure, all series and monthly gym passes for Ruissalon Kylpylä will grant access to Naantali Spa’s pool area and the OLOFitness gym.
